I'm so excited about this tape! Matt has been releasing peaceful, dreamy ambient music as Secret Colors for over a decade at this point, featured on labels such as Lillerne, Group Tightener, and Debacle. La la land represents a bit of a departure from his previous work, trading out hazy keyboards for a series of repetitive, meditative loops and samples. Made entirely in Virtual DJ, Matt's immersive sense of melody and humor and shine through bright and clear.
